Food and Alcohol Information
Yes, you are welcome to bring in food and non-alcoholic beverages to our events, but we are also happy to arrange pizzas, snacks and drinks for you to save you some stress. We are happy to make recommendations for catering, and we are also surrounded by several excellent restaurant options which are happy to deliver. Need to bring in a cake? Regarding Alcohol: Nevermore does not have a liquor license, but there are legal exceptions which allow alcoholic beverages to be served at certain private events. Here’s the quick breakdown:
- Alcohol is only allowed at events which buy out the entire venue ( that is, the whole store is closed to the public ). You cannot charge your own invited guests for such an event.
- Only beer and wine may be served unless you have contracted with a licensed bartender
- Events with alcohol may incur an additional an cleaning fee (quoted in advance during event reservation)
- Events with alcohol usually require single event insurance from a source such as Eventsured.com (typically this runs about $50 – contact your insurance vendor)
